Here we go.

I’ve been meditating, for some time now, 20 minutes twice a day. According to the app I use, I have meditated 455 times. It's a simple, natural, and effortless technique. And it’s been a good enough experience that I want to share it with you.

I’ve been researching and reading about Jewish meditation for some years now and there is scant information about the practice much less a cohort of people involved I can learn from. So, I struck out on my own path and selected a practice that doesn’t involve religious practices that might be in conflict with my Jewish beliefs. I found success.

The meditation practice I’ve selected lets one “dive” to a state where all is one, to put a twist on the motto of Dr. Bronner’s soap. This tracks with what we say when we pray the Shema, “Hear O Israel. The Lord is G-d. The Lord is One.” So, the meditation practice I’ve adopted is synchronized with my Jewish beliefs. And that’s a blessing.

Meditation isn’t for everyone, but it might help some people find tranquility and bliss. There are an infinite number of paths to explore and one might be right for you.

And may it be for all of us a blessing.

See you tonight!
Mit vareme grusn,
(With warm regards,)

All my love,
brian.

This video is a bit long (more than an hour), but it explains the essentials of the practice I follow.
