Here we go.

This isn't much of a newsletter this week. I spent Wednesday and Thursday driving from Arkansas to Madison. I'm home!

There are still a lot of loose ends I need to tie up, such as actually selling the two houses that now belong to me (my mother's and my aunt's). But, basically, I handed the keys to the real estate agent and wished them good luck. Next week, the moving van will pick up my things in Arkansas and eventually catch up with me in Madison, but for the time being, I have enough things to keep me comfortable.

You can expect more from me next week, but this week, this is all I have for you.

Something to think about.

Now that I'm back in Madison, we have a small organizational challenge to surmount: I will want to participate in some of the face-to-face activities our synagogue has started adding into the schedule, specifically the Shabbat Potlucks and some of the special events such as the upcoming Tu B'shevat Seder on Friday, January 19. These activities conflict with our Shabbat Gathering. So... we're going to need volunteers to be the MC for those times. Anyone?

And may it be for all of us a blessing.

See you tonight!
Gut Shabbes!

All my love,
brian.
