Chevra, we’re hours away from Shabbat and I am soooo ready for it. I’m ready to turn my eyes and heart towards the beautiful and divine. How about you?

This week, we welcomed the month of Adar Aleph, a leap month in this Shmita year. It is a special blessing for us to have an extra month in a year when we are to rest and rebuild.

Tonight, let’s rejoice in the opportunities this week gave us to be good Jews in a world that needs a lot of help to be made whole. Let’s sing our prayers, light our candles, and savor our wine and challah. But, perhaps most of all, let’s enjoy being with our friends.999
